Pink Cat Tattoo - branding project

This project presents a full visual identity for a private tattoo studio specialising in custom, story-based tattoos. The goal was to create a brand that feels personal, calm, and refined – with a strong emotional undercurrent.

The logo is a hand-drawn ink illustration of a black cat playing with a thread. The thread forms the letter P, which can also be used on its own as a symbol. The thread represents memory, connection, and attachment, key ideas behind the brand.

The main strapline, “Wear your story,” reflects the studio’s core approach: each tattoo is individually designed based on the client’s personal experience.

The colour palette combines warm, soft pinks with deep blacks to create contrast and emotional depth. Typography is minimal and classic, allowing the illustration and story to take centre stage. Supporting visuals include hand-made textures, sketches, and ink marks to highlight the tactile, human element of the brand.
