Haiku Zine- A whimsical project combining illustration, poetry and print. This series brings to life haiku written by Kate Miller-Wilson, using hand-drawn ink illustrations and a custom typeface made from wooden letter stamps. Designed for the ‘Fun and Play’ brief with Bratsford, the work explores the gentle rhythm of haiku through mark-making, texture and space. Each spread was printed in riso, keeping the imperfections and layering that give the book its handmade feel. A mix of poetry and process, and one of my personal favourites from university.
